The Making of UNRAVEL: A Family Saga Close to My Heart

When I first put pen to paper in 2011 for UNRAVEL, I didn’t just want to tell a story — I wanted to invite readers into a world that felt real, relatable, and unforgettable.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried stories inside me. Moments, memories, emotions — all waiting for the right time to take shape on the page. Some came from my own life, others from watching the people around me and imagining what their untold stories might be. Over time, those pieces wove themselves into what would eventually become my first book series UNRAVEL: Truth Be Told.

UNRAVEL was born from a desire to show the world what I see through the lens of an author: that our lives are full of quiet triumphs and hidden battles, and that even fiction can carry a powerful hint of truth. Every family has its secrets. Every person has a story. We all have a choice to either keep it or share it.

Writing this series has been as much a deep personal journey of self-discovery as it has been an act of creativity. Every character carries a piece of me; every scene draws from my experiences and my imagination. I’ve worked hard to craft vivid, immersive descriptions so you can see, feel, and live the story alongside the characters.

It hasn’t always been easy — writing a book rarely is! But my dedication to the craft and my love for storytelling kept me moving forward.

This is just the beginning of my journey as an author, and I’m excited to share it with you. Thank you for being here, for reading, and for letting me tell you a story.

I’d love to hear from you: what kind of stories resonate most with you? Feel free to leave a comment below or reach out — after all, stories are meant to be shared.

Until next time,
